May 1, 2010 - New Membership Options

The National Token Collectors Association (NTCA) is announcing a new youth program effective immediately. The new program features a special Youth Membership option for those 25 years and younger. The youth membership will cost only $5 per year and will include an electronic subscription to our monthly magazine.

The club is also announcing an Electronic Membership option, available to everyone, for $18 per year and includes an electronic subscription to our monthly magazine. It is hoped this electronic membership option will make membership more accessible to potential members, especially those residing in foreign countries. We continue to offer our regular membership, which receives a printed copy of our monthly magazine delivered by the post office, for $36 per year (in the USA).

January 2010 - Online Auction Site

NTCA and TokenCatalog.com are jointly offering an Online Auction Site, focused on the buying and selling of tokens and related exonumia. This site can be found at auction.tokencollectors.org or auction.tokencatalog.com.

NTCA membership is required for all sellers. Buyers are not required to be NTCA members. Listing fees will be $0.01 per item and completed sales will be subject to a 2% seller commission. All sellers will be given a $5 credit upon registration on the site.

The National Token Collectors Association (NTCA) was founded in 1996 to promote the hobby of collecting all tokens, medals and other exonumia. The association has a broad based membership concentrated in the United States but extending worldwide. All members are encouraged to share their knowledge towards our common goals to:

  1. Promote the collecting of merchant trade tokens and other exonumia made of metal, cardboard, plastic, wood, vulcanite, celluloid and paper.
  2. Foster good relations and fellowship in the token collecting hobby.
  3. Encourage study and sharing of information through articles and monographs about tokens issuing businesses, the tokens themselves (such as series and new finds), and token manufacturers or diesinkers.

As an association dedicated to the hobby and run by the participation of its membership, NTCA has both a “Constitution and Bylaws” and a “Code of Ethics” that help ensure the positive aspects of the hobby.

If you collect tokens, please consider joining NTCA!  No other token collecting organization offers so much for so little. Membership Application (PDF)
